Children’s Ministry

Worship Opportunities

Children are invited to worship with their families in the sanctuary for the months of July and August.

Sunday Classes

Nursery cares for infants until they are steady walkers.

Walkers needs are met in Room #2, which is equipped with toys and furniture just their size. Simple Bible stories are read and reinforced with coloring sheets.

Toddler Room #3 is for three-year-olds who are taught Bible stories and principles through hands-on activities, simple crafts, Scripture memorization, and songs.

Preschoolers enjoy Bible stories using puppets, skits, and games.  They meet in Room #4 where they also make crafts and learn Bible verses.

Grades K-1 meet in Room #8.  They are currently learning about the parables of Jesus.

Grades 2-3 gather in Room #9 to study Biblical characteristics, focusing on what the BIble says and how to apply what they’ve learned to their lives.  Students also lean how to pray and how to use the Bible.  The trait for August is HOSPITALITY.  Service project for this month will be hosting the Back-to-school Bash on Sunday, August 21.

Grades 4-5 studies correlate to what the Pastor teaches in the sanctuary.  Please bring your BIble with you to class in Room #7.

Grades 6-8 will remain in the sanctuary with their parents or adult(s) with whom they came to church.  Class will resume in September.

Wednesday Classes

Nursery is available.

Ages 3-5 meet in the Toddler Room #3 to study prayer.

Grades K-5 participate in CBC, a program that focuses on Bible use and memorization.  All children meet in the Fellowship Hall for pledges and prayer before splitting into smaller groups.

Grades K-1 meet in Room #4.

Grades 2-5 stay in the Fellowship Hall.
